We are fortunate to live in a country with four distinct seasons and the variety of fruits and vegetables that this provides. It makes for the most delicious and healthy diet, we just need to make a conscious effort to follow through on it!

Norfolk is blessed by farmers and growers who continue the food heritage established early in the nineteenth century, where ingredients bound for London’s commercial markets like Covent Garden were first established. The county’s fame for the humble potato, while well-deserved is not the only illustrious highlight of the root vegetable world. In recent decades Norfolk has become famous for its asparagus, as well as fresh garden peas, and broad beans, that are among the finest and best served freshly picked. All are included on my shopping list.
